Kamat's Passion for Photography

50 Years of Kamat's Photography

First Created: August 2001
Page Last Updated: June 15,2008

Introduction

The year 2001 marked 50th year of  Kamat picking up the hobby of photography, and to mark the occasion, he had sent me a handful of photographs -- most of them featuring family members -- that he had taken over the five decades. Technically, they might not be of great value, having taken with poor equipment, having suffered the test of time, moisture, and loss of pigments. However, they are of historical importance, because they trace the development of Kamat Photo Archive, and document Kamat's Passion for Photography over five decades.
