Abstract:A study of 517 men and women in the city of Mysore to discover causes and frequency of coronoary heart disease that is predicted to become the commonest cause of death in India within the next 15 years. The authors trace the causes to small sizes at birth and suggest improvements in the health of child-bearing women.
