Reflections on Orissi Dance (Editorial)

Title:Reflections on Orissi Dance (Editorial)
Author:Anand, Mulk Raj
Publication:Marg
Enumeration:Vol. 13 Issue no. 2; March 1960, p. 2-3
Abstract:In ancient India, all creative techniques and arts were submitted to the concepts of daily life or religion. Thus, the techniques elaborated by Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism have survived through various expressions of art. One such expression is the classical dance art of Orissa, which is now resurgent after a phase of decay.
