Historical Survey: Preliminary Note

Title:Historical Survey: Preliminary Note
Author:Anand, Mulk Raj
Enumeration:Vol. 13 Issue no. 2; March 1960, p. 6-7
Abstract:Dance sculptures were not intended as illustrations of dance, but signified the inner rhythm in the Orissan temples and the pre-occupation of society with dance at that time. However, certain panels of high workmanship do reflect the intricate poses of Odissi as practised in those times.
