Biography: Gopabandhu Chaudhry
Mr. Chaudhry is a practical politician. He does not believe in building an utopia overnight on the other hand, only steady perseverance according to him, can bring lasting results.
He gave up a lucrative government job in 1921 and led the Civil
Disobedience Movement. Jail life holds no terrors for him, having been a frequent inmate there. He has concentrated on the constructive program of the Congress.
