Lala Bhogilal Dhiralal

He was born at Ahemdabad in 1878. He is a B.A. , L.L.B of the Bombay University. In 1920 he abandoned his practice and took part in the Civil Disobedience Movement. The thirst for his sacrifice had become his weakness or his virtue. It is transformed his enthusiasm into a sublime devotion.

In the Non-Cooperation Movement he courted imprisonment. Since 1931 he is the Secretary of the Gujarat Provincial Congress Committee. For five years he was a Professor at the Ahmedabad Law College.

He occupies a lofty place amongst the Gujarat politicians. He is by instinct profoundly patriotic. Fame's spotlight on his work has magnified the value of his disinterested service.

He is elected to the Assembly from the Ahmedabad North General Rural Constituency.
