Biography: Ram Manohar Lohia

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia was a stormy petrel of the socialist movement and freedom struggle. His creative mind had a great fascination for new ideas and he spurned doctrine approach to social, political, economic and ideological problems. A relentless fighter against every form of injustice, he fervently pleaded for social equality and preferential opportunity for the socially oppressed sections of society to overcome their lag of centuries.
