Teej Festival
Teej festival, observed in parts of Rajasthan celebrates the arrival of Monsoons in June-July. Idols of goddess Parvati are decorated and parades in the streets accompanied by singing, music, and dancing. The festival glorifies a married woman coming home to visit her parents, and many women visit their parents on the occasion of this festival.
