Rama is misled by the golden deer (demon Maricha in disguise) deep in the forest. Sita gets panicky listening to the false alarm raised by the dying deer, and forces Laxmana to go and help Rama. Meanwhile Rawana disguised as a mendicant comes to Sita who was all alone and carries her away.
