Review of Silver Coin Indian Restaurant

I decided to check out the new Silver Coin "Indian Grill" located in Lorna Square in Hoover AL. We tried the lunch buffet which was $7.95 each.

The restaurant was very crowded and the owners were smiling ear to ear. I was happy to see an Indian restaurant do very well in Dixie Heartland.  It is a rather large facility, but the layout of the tables and the counters is horrible, making it very inconvenient to maneuver to the buffet and back.

There were a total of six prepared dishes, in addition to rotis and slightly fried rice. There were six other side items: chutney, raita, payasam, pickle, fruit and salad. Each item was deliciously  prepared, and one could enjoy the buffet by picking just a couple of items.
