|Irritation Factor Increase on Yahoo|| |
| I have been noticing a steady increase in the irritation factors in Yahoo's products and services, and I believe that they are all the result of aggressive marketing strategies (read as troubles with bottom line).|
Here are specific things I noticed with the Yahoo messenger:
There are ads on client that I cannot get rid of
Inspired by viral marketeers the Yahoo client tried to open Outlook address book and tried to send email to all my friends within the danger of a click. Unbelievable
Automatic updates. I don't want them, but I can't disable it.
Yahoo, why do you upset loyal, longtime customers? How are the above beneficial to me? (They may be beneficial to you, but don't force it on me).

|This is how I surf the web. Turns out
creating your own start page beats all portals, back-flipping,
personalized corporate pages, and book-marking tools.
