| Vista, Hasta La Vista Baby! | | | Without much fanfare Windows Vista breathed its last this week. It's funny, on Dell.com you can order a computer with XP, but not with Vista. Where are all those Mojave Experiment Models? I expected at least a couple of voices saying "Keep Vista Alive", like we keep hearing like "keep XP alive", or "keep VB alive". I have used Windows Vista Business since it came out and have hated Vista every single day that I have used it. The strange part for me is -- I wonder why everyone is raving about Windows 7, when it feels and behaves just like Vista. Why will it be better? I don't think Microsoft has addressed any of my concerns. I still think Windows stores temporary files in four different locations. The UAC is still there. The 32 bit-64bit dilemma is still there. We still need an anti-virus....
