As a programmer, I say kudos Apple for this stance. I am sick and tired of the Flash developers, the bugs, the invasion, the updates, the wastage, the slowness. All the Flash programmers I know are not real programmers (they might be graphic artists) -- they use point-and-click tools to create animations, and their apps are horrible.
Flash, Silverlight, Java Applets, all y'all go away. Your time has passed.

• Adobe Supporters on Facebook -- There is nothing wrong with Adobe creating tools for iPhone development, it just can't be based on Flash, which in my professional opinion is a poor implementation.
