If alive, Swarabhaskar Pandit Bhimsen Joshi would have celebrated his 89th
birthday on this day. We, the admirers of his eternal music, have decided to
pay a musical homage to Bhimanna by presenting a concert of his most
promising grand-disciple, Jayateerth Mevundi. Jayateerth has received
training by Pt. Shripati Padigar (who is Bhimanna's disciple) and Pt.
Arjunsa Nakod. Please do come and join us. The admission is free, on a
first-come-first basis.
