But in many Indian languages, the word Madhur indicates a type of sweetness and is a very pleasant way to describe something, anything really.
So each time I hear the name of Maduro, I think of this below song, by Vallabha Acharya, a 15th century poet.

Here's a wonderful song and music celebrating that sweetness. In the medieval poem, that is the only metaphor the poet has used.
