Ruben Studdard, the "American Idol" is from Birmingham, where I live.
I've never seen the show, but I do know the buzz that's going around. The clothes he wears (with 205 which is the area code for Birmingham) to the music he makes has sparked quite a few industries. I think Ruben will be good for Alabama. Goody!
