If there is one thing George W. Bush has taught the world, it is to make good on the threats.
A couple of days ago, my hosting service provider, EV1Servers.net made a deal with SCO, who claim that they own parts of the Linux Operating System.
I protested, saying it was immoral to fund a blackmailing company.
But in today's response, the CEO of EV1Servers.net justifies his decision. He does not recognize the legitimate reasons of my anger (and I am not alone, see this SlashDot thread).
Now I must do what I said I would do - switch to a different company.
I have had two offers for free hosting from two companies. Thank you, but no thank you. I prefer to pay, so I can make threats like above ![]()
I have shortlisted Interland and ServerBeach. I will decide soon.
