Veteran writer and photographer Krishnanand Kamat, who passed away on February 20, is now alive again through his eyes!

On Monday two blind men were grafted with one of Kamat's eyes each. The surgeries was successfully performed at the B.W.Lions Eye Hospital in the City by Dr. Rekha Gyanchand, the Director of  Lions Inyernatioanl Eye Bank in Bangalore. In a few weeks, these two men, who have never been able to see in their life, will be able to see the world for the first time through Kamat's famous eyes!

So Kamat lives on not only through his photographs, travelogues but also though his eyes.

"We wish that others are encouraged to donate their eyes through this news of my father's eye donation", Kamat's son Vikas Kamat said.
