Pardon my mixing of art media, cultures and histories -- but this July 4th, I am overcome from this complex, celebratory feeling -- quite indescribable in mere words, but eloquently expressed in the following forms: a poem, a painting, and a song ("Glorious Sun of Freedom" -- embedded below).
