Mahesh Shantaram (who used to have a blog called Filter Coffee) has a photo-essay on Peru titled Where Jesus Never Ruled.
It includes more information and pictures than necessary, but the photographs by themselves tell a wonderful story. Makes me want to go to South America.
I also hear Mahesh is taking up photo-journalism as a fulltime gig, and I look forward to his future works.
Asita Prabhushankar has written a novel called Beyond the Call of Voice. (see review at Tribune)
Having grown up in an literary environment -- having Prabhushankar for dad, Kuvempu for a family friend, and Bhyrappa for a next door neighbor, I am surprised it took Asita this long to come out of the shell.
