There were different types of major industries like the textile, dye industry, sugarcane crushing,oil pressing,iron work, mining,metal industry, ceramic,salt, stone carving,basket weaving, jewellery making, carpentry, house building etc.Details and illustrations are provided from inscriptions and literary sources.
