Biography: Atmaram Nana Patil

Mr. A.N. Patil was born in 1907. He sprang from an agriculturist family. He is a renowned Kisan (agriculturist) worker. During the Civil Disobedience Movement he participated in the jungle Satyagraha and was sentenced to thirteen imprisonment. After his release he courted imprisonment thrice. He is elected a member of the executive committee of the M.P.C.C.

Mr.Patil is a Royist (peasant activist). He has concentrated all his energies to ameliorate the peasants. He is a remarkable fusion of the subtle fire of impassion intellect and purity of heart.
