Charles Correa

Born: 1930

Charles Correa, a renowned architect at the University of Michigan (USA), planned and designed new Bombay across the old harbour. Not only did he conceive the refined architectural works built in Bombay, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bhopal and other cities in the sub-continent but he also visualized and developed the concept of low cost housing for the benefit of those who lived away from the glare of affluence.
