Dhyan Chand's performance on the Hokey ground often resembled the flash of light ring. The magic of his quick footwork had a great spell on the spectators while it confused the rivals. Dhyan Chand went to the Olympics with the faith of a pilgrim and often returned with triumph and glory. The period of the peak of success in his sports career will be legitimately remembered as long as "Dhyan Chand Era" in Indian Hockey.
