Biography: G.V. Subbarao

In response to Gandhiji's call, Mr. Subbarao gave up his studies and threw himself into the political fray. He bravely led a batch of volunteers to the salt pans amid a liberal shower of lathis. The ruthless charges broke his ribs but the spirit enshrined in it.

He has every quality needed to make an ideal political worker. He is a member of the A.I.C.C and is the Secretary of the Guntur District Congress committee.

His transparent sincerity, his fearless consistency and his absolute devotedness have made him a popular figure in the pageant of  patriots from Andhra Pradesh.
