M.N. Bhide

Mr. M.N.Bhide was born in 1907. He sprang from an agriculturist family of average means. He received his education at Mangalore. His perceptive talent enabled him to specialize in many subjects. In 1925 he started village reconstruction campaign. Since then he has devoted himself to the Congress cause. Cooperation, education and sanitation are the three spheres of his interest.

He has selected some groups of village for the uplift work. He is a very silent worker and does things without much gusto. Mr.Binde is profound scholar. His sharp intellect can see into the heart of the problem.

His personal magnetism is the key to his success. He is an effective speaker and a prolific writer. He has always kept himself abreast of his times. He is an ardent Congressman and is elected to the A.I.C.C.
