Biography: Chinubhai Lallubhai Mehta
Mr.Mehta's interest in actual politics dates form the Satyagraha movement. Ever since he has been giving liberal donations to strengthen the movement. In the No-Tax campaign he came to the rescue of the peasants whose land were forfeited. He is the Managing Agent of the Rohit Mills, Ltd, and the Bipin Silk mills Ltd. He is a distinguished Mill magnate of Ahemdabad. He is the Managing Partner of Messrs. C.Doctor & Co, Ahemdabad and Bombay. It is a leading office dealing in Mill stores and Machineries. He is also the Managing agent of the Oriental Corporation Ltd. He is elected to the Council form Kaira cum Ahemdabad General non-Mahomedan constituency.
