Biography: Tippanna Sastri Kalli

Mr.T.S.Kalli was born at Gadag in 1895. He is a self-taught genius. He participated in the Civil Disobedience Movement and was convinced for three years. He served on the national board of Karnatic and patriotic songs have immortalized him. Like Pied piper of Hamelin he exercises a hypnotic influence over the peasants. He is unrivalled at mass suggestion. The grateful province has conferred upon him the titles of "Keertana Kesari" and "Desha Bhakta".
