Pictures of the inauguration ceremony of "Krishna-Kalpa" the library
and community center built in the town of Honavar to remember K.L.Kamat. Many
are pictures of volunteers preparing for the event. It was wonderful to see
people volunteering to decorate,
arrange books, and helping with the events.

"Krishna-Kalpa" was dedicated to the public by the
pontiff of Pejawar muth, Sri Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji. He lauded the efforts
of Dr. Jyotsna Kamat, and noted that the highest Hindu prayer, the Gayatri
Mantra, is a prayer of knowledge (dhiyoyona prachodayat). He hoped
that the Kamat Center will grow to become a beacon of knowledge and inspiration
for the local people.
