Chaos of the Fish Market
A Konkan Fish Market

Notice the Mangalore style tiles, the Nawayat boy in lungi, the Muslim lady in Burkha (veil), villagers and children in rural attire.

On the Konkan coast and elsewhere, a fish market is synonym with noisy, free for all
situations. A common usage is teacher to students making noise - "Do you think this is a fish market ?"
